Terms and Conditions

  1. Promoter: The promoter of this competition is the Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre, located at Club Marconi, Bossley Park, NSW. Employees, their immediate families, and any associated entities are ineligible to enter.
  2. Eligibility: Entry is open to individuals who have completed a minimum of five (5) individual sessions of court hire (tennis, squash, or pickleball), competition play, or lessons at the Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre within the competition period.
  3. How to get stamps/holespunch: (1) wear a Marconi Tennis Academy shirt = 1 stamp/holepunch (2) wear a Marconi Tennis Academy hat = 1 stamp/holepunch. (3) attend a tennis lesson = 1 stamp/holespunch. (4) post on social media and tag the Marconi Tennis Academy = 3 stamps/holepunch (5) give us a Five Star written review on the Marconi Tennis Academy Google Business Profile = 3 stamps/holepunch. (6) give us a Five Star written review on our Facebook page = 3 stamps/holepunch. (7) play a tennis competition match at the Marconi Tennis Academy = 1 stamp/holepunch.
  4. Competition Period: 22nd February 2026 7:00am to 19th December 2026 11:00am EST.
  5. Entry Process: For each eligible session, participants will receive a hole punch on an entry ticket. Once a ticket has five (5) hole punches, the participant must include their full name and mobile number on the ticket and submit it into the Australian Open Competition Barrel located at the Centre.
  6. Valid Entries: To be valid, all entry details must be fully completed, including the initials of the staff member who punched the ticket. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
  7. Multiple Entries: Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry meets the eligibility requirements.
  8. Prizes:
    • 1st Prize: A trip for two (2) to the 2027 Australian Open, including three (3) nights’ accommodation and two (2) ground passes for the opening days. (Total value up to AUD $2,000).
    • 2nd Prize: One year of free court hire on Sundays, valued at AUD $300.
    • 3rd Prize: A racquet and bag set valued at AUD $200.
  9. Non-Transferable: 2nd and 3rd Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives. The prize must be taken as stated.
  10. Transferable: 1st prize is transferable and can be either taken as two airfares, 3 days accomodation and two ground passes for one day of tennis and the Australian Open 2027 or taken as a lump some cash prize of $2,000.00
  11. Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is not included in the prize and is the responsibility of the winner.
  12. Draw Details: The draw will take place on Saturday, 19th December 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre Pro-Shop. The draw will be conducted by either the President of Club Marconi or the Sports President (if they are not available the draw will be done by Stewart Whicker the Head Coach and manager of the Marconi Tennis/Squahs and Pickleball centre).
  13. Winner Attendance: The winner must be present at the time of the draw. Once the winning ticket is announced, the winner has two (2  minutes) to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within this period, another draw will be conducted, and this process will continue until a winner claims the prize.
  14. Publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in any publicity or promotional activities as reasonably requested by the Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre, including the use of their name and image.
  15. Disqualification: The Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  16. Liability: The Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of entering or participating in this competition. By entering, participants accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
  17. Force Majeure: The Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition in the event of a force majeure or any other event beyond its reasonable control.
  18. Prize Details and Conditions: Final confirmation of airline departure times and accommodation details will be provided by 25th December 2026. The Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre is not responsible for the quality of accommodation or airline service. All bookings are subject to availability.
  19. Privacy: Personal information collected from entries will be used solely for the purpose of this competition and will not be shared with third parties. All participants will be added to the Marconi Tennis and Squash Centre’s mailing list, from which they can unsubscribe at any time.
  20. Governing Law: This competition and its terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
  21. Amendments: The Marconi Tennis & Squash Centre reserves the right to modify or add to these terms and conditions at any time, subject to regulatory approval if required.
